"Fantastic location. Close to Ecoland which is where you want to be for restaurants. Very friendly hosts who welcome you to their lodge like family. You must try the hot pot night very traditional and really yummy, I would say the best meal I have had in Japan. Another plus is hakuba haven has its own bar and at 500 yen for any drink you can’t beat that. Would definitely stay again.."

"I highly recommend a stay at the Hakuba Haven Lodge. The owners, Andrew and Senae, are extraordinarily hospitable and are always more than happy to go the extra mile for their guests. It was a great experience to come home and catch up with the Andrew, Senae and the other guests in a very homely setting. Andrew and Senae were great in walking guests through the best snow fields and restaurants to visit, and activities to participate in. The rooms were great, with very comfortable beds and facilities, and always guaranteed a quality sleep. I can’t wait to stay at the Hakuba Haven Lodge again in the future - I miss it already."

"Not only is this the perfect location for staying in Hakuba, the owners are two of the best people you could ever meet. They went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, which they were. Sonae and Andy will get to know you and recommend restaurants, ski hills, and little local secrets that appeal to you and your needs. You would be greatly missing out by not staying here! Make sure you do the hot pot that is offered and spend time getting to know the owners and it will be a highlight of your trip to Japan."

"Hands down one of the best lodge experiences I have ever had. From the moment we arrived, Andy and his wife Senae were incredibly kind and helpful. Whether its offering tips on the good riding, or helping to make restaurant reservations, these two are always willing to go the extra mile. If you have plans to travel to Hakuba, do yourself a favor and stay here. P.S. Make sure to try Senaes amazing hot pot. You will not regret it."
